I was just thinking about Ivan Gazidis today and I had no idea he was the "direttore generale" of Milan! I remember speaking to him back in 1994 when he was he founded Major League Soccer and became the deputy commissioner along with Don Garber in 2001. I recall he oversaw and was involved with all the player contracts across the league and I believe he also discovered (SUM) Soccer United Marketing, of which he was president. SUM was actually a brilliant scheme as it was the marketing arm of US soccer and MLS. It held the TV contracts and rights for all the International friendlies, US and Mexican National Teams, the Gold Cup and the World Cup. In turn, some of the revenue made was put back into the league to offset losses. He also promoted Mexican teams playing in the USA. How about that @Calcio Pauly, Milan actually is learning something form MLS!
