it's game day. i'm excited for this one. arsenal have been in bad shape lately with just 2 wins since the start of february. wenger's position seems to be under more pressure with each match. i think they have some injury issues right now too. we couldn't be playing them at a better time.
arsenal weren't playing very arsenal-y in the first half, but there's still time for them to arsenal it up in the second and let us back into the tie. we had a few chances and should have had a goal in the first half. as the half went on though, we conceded more and more to them.
Well that effing sucked! First taste of old reality since Rino took over Got a long way to go as this showed we got lots of things to fix. Still.
despite their current standing in the epl table, arsenal are a team full of good players. when they get it right, they can give any team a bad day. 2-0 isn't insurmountable in london. it won't be easy, but our guys can do it. they need to come out focused and punch arsenal in the nose early. then they will collapse.
exactly. we need to get their defense insecure because atvthe end of the day their defense is horrible
It was always gonna be a tough ask but just in case the ref made sure it wasn't happening. You all got screwed.
i hate to lose like that. it's one thing to lose, but it's another thing entirely to have a phantom penalty totally ruin the game. i wonder if he had orders from above to make sure arsenal advance to make the quarters more relevant to the world.
last english team left in the round of 16 in a tournament... of course they got orders to see them through lol
