Sounds more concrete than than a random rumor when Mix personally tweeted Hyundai could indirectly be his new employer. Interesting move if true. Ulsan Hyunda has definitely had domestic success and has a decent record in the Asain Champions League winning the whole thing 6 or 7 years ago. Last Yank or only Yank I remember in the K-League was Austin Berry.

I wish he would go to the J-league so I can watch him play.

I'd say if you wanted to stay in the NT picture for the upcoming Gold Cup, etc., being in Europe is better. But hell -- enjoy the ride while it lasts. A bunch of players from that league just beat the #1 team in the world, too.

Sounds like Mix had an assist:

53 ' 0-2 Mix Diskerud lifts neatly forward the ball to Giorgi Kharaishvili who puts the ball behind Jens Resin in the BBK case.

Love the shade. At least not all of our former players have forgotten this is a rivalry.

.....but we do love Mexico don't we?
Some of us just want to play them where it matters the most (to them)- and where the score settles at, and with, destiny (twotozero)

I know so many people in my life who are happy when Mexico does well in the World Cup that when it’s on this stage I can’t help but be happy for them when they do well. El Tri is an ever-presence in our country.

But I always want to beat them more than anything, in Azteca more than anywhere, and I’d rather win 2-0 than 3-0.

    A move coming?

Mikkel Diskerud seems to be heading away from Blåvitt.
According to Göteborgs-Posten , he is now visiting a new club.
"He is off for the weekend (against Örebro) and has asked for a few days off," sports director Mats Gren told the newspaper.

Norwegian-American Mikkel Diskerud may have made his last match for IFK Göteborg. Diskerud, who is currently on loan at Blåvitt, did not attend Thursday's training and, according to information to Göteborgs Posten, he meets a new club. The magazine writes that the midfielder has already taken good care of several teammates.

    Another win today.
Quarterfinalists now - in the Korean FA Cup.

Up from #7 or #8 - to #4 in K-league since Ulsan signed me. Smiles and cheers in the city. Nice city. Awsome foods.
However, have been told we have been through and such experienced the worst heat wave in Korea for some 120y. Hot & humid.
Anything more you want to know?

What's the level of competition vs. the Tippeligaen, Allsvenskan, or MLS? Any chance on proving yourself with your parent club?

Do you have any takeaways regarding South Korea's strategies for growing their soccer culture, building their domestic league, and developing youth talent?
