Mike Magee is the Freaking Highlander

Of interest is that the Fire forum has a new thread titled "Worst Chicago Fire Decisions of All Time". Letting Magee come back to LA ranks number 4!

Depending on how Magee performs, he could move up on that list. Haven't looked at their list, but locating in Bridgeview should be pretty high on the list.

 

I don't know if I can give much credibility to a list that has hiring Frank Yallop as only their 6th worst decision!

 

Well, they have had a lot of really bad ones to choose from.

 

Our list would be pretty good, even though we've had a lot of success. We've had some doozies.

Another small hint in this piece about why Magee opted for Chicago. If you recall, when asked Landon said something similar back when the trade happened. Paraphrasing, but it was something along the lines of "no one on the outside will know, but Mike had to do what was right for his family."
