No really, this time we mean it. I'm thinking the team colors should be yellow and black and the shirts should have a zigzag pattern, in honor of how Miami soccer fans must feel after so many years of this.
I still can't believe there isn't an Athletic Club yet. 3 united and a bunch of FC, but no AC or Athletic. I'd prefer AC Miami to Inter Miami.
Personally I hope they go with Miami Fusion S.C. I agree no more United's. Which they cant use by the way, as there is already a Miami United team. AC Miami would be better than Inter Miami, agreed.
Not exactly pro on any level, but yeah. Miami Fusion, and Miami FC are already taken as well. And Inter Miami is trademarked by a member on here. Guess that leaves, Miami AFC(Association Football Club) and Miami S.C.Hmmm, if not an actual nickname.
I think Inter Miami is still a viable option. The name and brand should belong to the fans via a fans' trust (this is done elsewhere in the world) This prevents a situation like Columbus Crew - if owners decide to relocate a team, its name and identity must remain behind. As it should be. All that remains is to work out a deal with the holders of the trademark!

Im living here in Miami Lakes, we need a team badly, too much talent in Miami. By the way, if anybody knows of a Sunday league or indoor soccer, let me know, I’m working in Aventura for now. Cheers ✌
They should have that rule over here with all Pro Sports. Ive referred to it as the Brown Claus. Since the Browns moved to Baltimore in the NFL, But left the team name and identity in Cleveland, lol.
