    Time is 8PM EST

Anyway, Guatemala can stay in the game for a half much like El Salvador did in the first match by bunkering. They have to play slow and keep it 0-0 as long as possible so the Mexicans get a bit frustrated and the crowd starts to get nervous & antsy. Once MExico scores their first goal though, it may be curtains for los chapines. Another 4-5 goals could be in the works especially if their defenders commit fouls for red cards.

It's pretty much the same thing for Mexico in all games we've played so far. If we get the first gol it's pretty much the can opener for more when teams have to try and attack us.

Lol, El Salvador did not bunker against Mexico in that first half. They were attacking like crazy and were the better team. Nice ego-defense revisionist history though. They couldn't keep up the defensive intensity and it cost them.

It will not be a walk in the park against Guate, but I hope your players come in with as much arrogance because it'll cost them the game like it has in the past.

    My apologies.

What I meant to write was that Guatemala can keep it 0-0...

...and the way THEY would do it is by bunkering.

Man, I was shocked when Mexico just humiliated Costa Rica in the first half. It looked like Spain hammering the US.

I just think Mexico is head and shoulders above everyone in CONCACAF right now.

We have to park the bus if were gonna have any chance in this one, but Mexico is a far superior team, im not expecting much, but i ll be rooting for our boys! vamos Guate. Also Guate has nothing to lose, nothing, and that can make a team dangeorus!

Hater-revisionist history right here. Ill agree with you that El Salvador was not bunkering in the sense that they always had 8 behind the ball. Instead what they were doing was clogging up the midfield with lots of pressure on Mexico's poor passing CMs. But to act like they were not only a team playing defensively, but also the the team trying to carry the attack is simply just looking at things through Mexico-hating glasses.

    6-0 if Guatemala doesn't bunker.

    5-0 if Guatemala bunkers

4-0 if Mexico gets bored halfway through the game

Still mad that your boys screwed the pooch and are out of the U-20 world cup huh? It's okay man, let it go already.

And the referee hooked your team up with a man advantage for 18 minutes and a two man advantage for 16 minutes and they still couldn't do shit against Guatemala, so what do your predictions say about your team?

It takes the balls the size of a bear to post this irreverence.

While they didn't bunker proper, instead they tried to break up plays, they didn't attack "like crazy" either, they generally just wanted to not lose 5-0 and guess what?

Regardless of arrogance, or of what Guatemala does or does not do. If Mexico is in tune and plays with courage (i.e. does not half ass this) then the score will be

    Chingomil a bien poquitos.

Sorry if this comes across wrong, from what I've seen that's what I expect. I will say, I was happily surprised by Guate, they held their own in games and that Pappa guy has attributes. I just don't think it will be enough, there is no amount of game management tactics or tricks if Mexico comes out playing well.

    /p

Be glad that Guatemala will be in their first World Cup in any category.

You mad Guatemala finished in 3rd and got Mexico, which now means you have to take your Big Screen TV back to Rent-A-Center bro??

imo Guatemala will take a red card in this game like usual, and bunker and then get hit with 4-5 gols... actually to put it in simple terms, w.e America did to Guatemala, Mexico will do that x10.
