But again Luis Fernando Suarez said going into this tourney that he had to work with something, which means this entire tourney will be an experiment to him and the rest of the team. His first friendly was against El Salvador like a week ago or so. I don't think any system from a new coach takes a week to work properly. Most/Some of these players may not even return to the squad because they don't fit his system, So am I worried right now? No not really, but I expect by the time WCQ comes for Honduras to be on their top form. People might not even realise it but most of our best players are not even here or even playing. He also left out some players that were seemingly key figures for 2014. A lot factors into this. Hopefully we get it right by WCQ.
I'm pretty sure it was contaminated meat they ate during the national team concentration.. All 5 come from different clubs.
At the very least this is a psychological blow to Mexico, expecting a wobbly win from them this time.
I heard some of the Cubans have defected already.. imo. best match of the tourney so far due to prior circumstances.
I'm going McCarthyist on this one. Hoping Mexico destroys Cuba and takes their final match like a walk in the park.
