STFU Dueñas has only had one solid game with the NT. Good league player, but should be nowhere near the callup list.
The only guy i'm worried for is Layun. I thought he was poor and unlike some of the others, he's rusty from the lack of playing time. Hopefully he gets it together for the Honduras game. Lets see how he plays against Ireland.
The Croats deserved the win. They are no pushovers. Even their C team is comprised of smart, solid, seasoned Euro pros. Despite having participated in many fewer WC's, don't forget they finished third in 1998. Mexico has NEVER attained a semi-final in the WC.
Well Mexico has been around a lot longer as a nation. Croatia has qualified for almost every world cup since there independence. When Croatia was a part of Yugoslavia they were always a very strong nation in soccer.
That's what I've been scared of this entire season. Many of the guys in Europe had a sharp decline in playing time and it shows. Considering important games are on the horizon it's kinda scary
I thought that but Herrera and Salcedo had good games in March in the middle of them not playing at all (Herrera even got out of it). Still you never know and I think Layun was weak today. Worried how it will be with Tecatito.
