From the article: "Irish coach Bobby Clark has a very simple recruiting tool hanging in his office — a photograph. What makes the photograph special, though, is who is in the picture. Featured in the photograph are former Irish players Michael Thomas and Justin Morrow challenging for a header against former Mexico under-20 forward and current Manchester United star Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez. “Every time a recruit comes in, you just say ‘Do you want to be in that photo?’ He usually doesn’t know Michael Thomas and he usually doesn’t know Justin Morrow but he does know Javier Hernandez,” Clark said." Boss.
Nice, thanks for the heads up, didn't know about it. Calling the wife to see if she wants to head out there. Here is the pic the coach is talking about
They won 1-0. Anyone know who was on the team? http://www.femexfut.org.mx/portalv2/aspx/WEB_DetalleNoticia.aspx?pnIDNtca=38574
Hey everyone. I'm broadcasting the game tomorrow in Bloomington, and while my spanish isnt half bad, I'm still having trouble finding stats on all of the Mexican players, since some play for the first team and others are on the reserves or other jovenes teams. If anyone knows a good place to find stats for these guys, that would be greatly appreciated! And if you could give me a good scouting report on the current squad, that would be great! Very excited for the game, should be a cracking match! Want to see if Gomez is the real deal.
Thanks for the help Phenom! Also you probably already know this but even though Martin Galvan was called up, he's been allowed to go to Man City on two week trial.
Went to game....the thing i picked up is that gomez will be too slow for international senior team as he grows
Once again this year they will play ND vs Mexico U20 on April 26 at 7pm at ND. Anyone know what players Mexico is traveling with?
just checked the ND site and its on the schedule, I am def going to this , especially if tecatito is coming dude is awsome.
That is why i'm asking who is coming, i don't think they are traveling with any guys getting PT with their clubs.
There is NO way that Tecatito is going to miss the clasico vs Tigres the next day so he can play a friendly against Notre Dame.
Who's going to this game? Probably a bunch of second string players who the coach wants to see or probably new players he's been looking at
He's a forward, but I don't think there would be room on the World Cup squad. He is on loan from Guadalajara.
Roster? Hope to see Raul Lopez given a shot. If it was up to me he would be starting over that useless sack of shit called Chapo Sanchez.
