Such a shame we didn’t get the luxury of playing EDF’s Samp.

    Fcuk this game

What makes it impossible for us to hire the coaches you're talking about is not necessarily the salary they demand but the transfer budget they want to even think about signing for a team.

Ugh, the exact opposite of what you want to see coming off an international break.

Just gotta keep at it, I suppose.

More injuries. More red cards. More dropped points (against bottom of the league).

    Rubbish.

Fair result, we didn't deserve to win.

We can see those 2 yellows being given but both were incredibly soft, especially the first one which Viera bought.

Given the circumstances, it was never going to be pretty. We need the guys healthy as you cant expect any resemblance of a team with a patch work quilt of a line up.

Somewhat true, but not every really good coach comes with astronomical demands.

We just need someone who knows how to get the most out of a team and not be a toal push-over about what kind of players he'd accept as a starting material. Ancelotti is doing quite fine in Napoli exactly because he's the right kind of guy to keep a team performing close to their potential, both on the pitch and outside of it.

Fonseca is never going to have the power to demand players, and he obviously lacks the tactical know-how on how to make a team to perform at least decently in all of its phases of play, not just the ones he is good at...

It's quite disheartening, because it would take another 1-2 months for everyone to stop diluding themselves and we'd be quite finished with CL fight by then, we're almost finished even now.

Another miserable game. Zaniolo is the only player that I look forward to watching. Florenzi, LoPel don't have the feel that Totti/DeRossi brought. I just cant get exited anymore.

Like I said a few weeks ago, we need a new coach, and as each game psses it becomes more urgent.

Btw, when Mancini shot from just inside their area in the first half he was brutally fouled by an opponent who should have been cautioned and us given a penalty-kick.

The reeree was atrocious today (again).

That foul took place outside the penalty area.

It was just inside and wasn't penalised despite hurting Mancini.

    Where's the VAR?

Spaletti won't be such a huge improvement over Fonseca, and for the money... won't be worth it.

The only ex Roma coach who could make this circus click is Rudi, but he isn't coming, so scratch that.

We need an established and capable coach who's ambitions are within our reach, but barely.

Stop bringing in people for whom being at Roma is a success. Those people don't have anything worthwhile to give, they are already over-eacheving according to their own standards. Bring someone who has to settle for us and watch him change the culture of the club to something a little bit more reliable.

Although I don't think DDR had it out for him , now that both he and Totti or rather the old guard are gone, I can see Spaletti going back to Roma...

I don't know what another manager could do at the moment. The roster wasn't that good to begin with and half of them are hurt. They rely too much on Džeko for scoring and no one else except maybe Kolarov from set pieces finishes is a threat. Our leading scorer from last season is in Shanghai.

There is no one dynamic in the midfield that can change or even control a game. The defense crumbles as soon as they face any decent sort of attacking side.

This team as constructed was never going to finish higher than 4th or 5th place in the table.

He has a running salary of 5mil/year with Inter for nearly 2 more years.

That's a lot of money for staying at home doing nothing while Sal kisses your ass like a window cleaner. He's not going anywhere, least of all to a team who's coach salary budget isn't enough to cover a room and board in a local hostel.

Olsen's Cagliari: 14 points, 2 clean sheets( both are wins), Goal difference: 12:7, Wages 39mil.
Fonseca's Roma: 13 points, 2 clean sheets( only one is a win), Goal difference: 12:10 Wages 109mil.

    Those treacherous numbers...

Well, that's the #1 reason you don;t give power to mad and stupid people. Power usually enhances those qualities in such individuals.
