Sacking Lippi and Norman was a terrible decision. But maybe the injuries slow now that we start playing once a week.
Next 5 games : Inter: Milan, Lazio, Genoa, Atalanta and Frosinone. Roma: SPAL, Napoli, Fiorentina, Sampdoria and Udinese. 6th game: Inter vs Roma
Roma concede only .19 xG vs Empoli which is the lowest of the season— Joey Palmieri (@PalmsyJ) March 11, 2019
we should really just focus on winning our own games. we've got so many problems, dont think we should be worrying about anything else.
Schick said that it was a physical match and that at the end he felt almost dead! The level of professionalism at Trigoria needs to be reviewed urgently.
I thought Marcano looked good tonight. Probably one of his best games so far. Florenci and JJ are disastrous, can’t be relied upon. JJ sometimes catches a good streak of games, but it usually takes him a few f*ck ups to start the engine. Schick has got those flashy moves, can do something unexpected but he always makes those simple decisions so complicated. Cristante was awful tonight and generally this season. He had some good games, he is good when he has ball in his feet, but other than that he offers nothing. Doesn’t run, doesn’t follow opponents, lethargic. Yes, he is played out of the position but you have to show some blood. Elsha was good tonight, Kluverit too, but you can feel Justin can do much more than that. Olsen is still Olsen, a regular mid-table I-hope-he-doesn’t—have-a-brainfart-tonight goalie. Let’s hope Claudio inject some fire in this team.

Their "goal" was complete BS and it was in fact a handball. Seeing the calls against Kimpembe, Otamendi, Sandro etc it would have been an outrage if the goal was not annulled. Especially after the ridiculous red card on Florenzi.
That Florenzi second yellow was ridiculous. Footballers are gonna have to have their arms amputated to avoid handball calls on VAR at this rate.
The rules are going to change so that any handball in offense will result in the goal disallowed. Maybe Serie A has adopted this already. https://www.foxsportsasia.com/footb...-active-from-the-start-of-the-2019-20-season/ Actually it's not really clear how far they will look back to determine handball, but they are definitely cracking down on it.
Nzonzi had his best game in months, which makes me wonder how many players were struggling with EDF’s frenetic football. I’m waiting to see how Pastore and Fazio do under Ranieri.
