I guess the line-up EdF puts out for this one will depend to a certain extent on his plans for the Shahktar match. After their bans (and rest too), Radja and Pellegrini will probably start. DDR could do with some game time after a lengthy absence. He will be an important player against Shahktar no doubt, but can he play both games?

Certainly a trickier looking tie than the previous two, but we need to win these very winnable games. There are much tougher fixtures ahead where points can easily be dropped.

EDF expected to use 4-2-3-1 again with some rotation. Juan will start in defence.

If we are sticking with 4-2-3-1 we need to get Radja behind Dzeko. Perotti played there against Benevento and was drifting to the left wing way too often, I think thats when EDF decided to put Under there instead. Speaking of Under, keep starting the kid:

    Alison
    Flo - Manolas - JJ - Kolarov
    DDR - Stroot
    Under - Radja - Perotti
    Dzeko

Our fullbacks definitely need a rest, just not sure who we have available to put in for them.

Generally hate playing away to Udinese, but they've been pretty terrible this season. We should get a lot of chances against them.

In the case of Kolarov ... nobody. Silva is still out.

Bruno has been "forgiven" apparently , so theoretically we could rest Flo.. but I'm not ready for Bruno right now. We aren't in a comfortable enough position for me to laugh/cry at his shit.

Kolarov should rest before Shahktar. Emerson should start this one. Oh wait......guess it's Kolarov or JJ so.....

Udinese has been better since Oddo took over and we've seen over the past several months that several chances don't necessarily lead to goals with this team. I expect this will be a 1-0 or 2-1 affair with lots of suffering until the final whistle.

Its disappointing that as long as Florenzi has been playing RB, he has not improved his crossing at all.

This team is just not playing well. The MF isn't linking up, no movement off the ball, guys too long on the ball. Basically just 11 guys out on the field.

Terrible, scrappy half of football. Udinese are rubbish, no excuse not to beat them.

Ses and flo have been pretty awful. Under looking bright again and that De Paul has spent more time lying down than standing up

All of the Italians have been playing like dogshit today. Everytime Florenzi touches the ball it goes to the other team, Pellegrini has been getting bodied up and down the pitch along with misplacing multiple key passes, De Rossi looks like a grandpa out there and El Shaarawy looks like he snorted a line of cocaine before the game.

Dzeko struts around the pitch like he could give a shit, and Juan Jesus looks like he'd rather be sitting on the bench playing games on his phone. And Manolas' act of rolling around like a baby has gotten old. Didn't think there could be someone worse than him but De Paul has probably spent more time face down in the grass than up on his feet.

The only players who look like they give a damn are Fazio, Ninja, Under and Alisson.

Couldnt agree more with the Dzeko comment. His lack of determination (or certainly what looks like it) infuriates me.

    Here's hoping for a better 2nd half.
