what? He's been our best defender by a mile today... which feels weird saying , but it's not been close. Karsdorp has been dreadful.
I don't think he's been that terrible. He made a few pitch length runs back. I like what he provides us going forward though.
Marcano has blocked a few shots and made one good forward run. Good. He has also messed up twice. Bad. A mixed performance would be an accurate assessment.
Horrible job giving up a free header. 3 turnovers around our 18. Misreads on overlaps leaving Schick and Cristante isolated in prime counter danger scenarios. You can't just drive the ball to the attackers feet , and then automatically make an overlap , you need to assess the situation first , then make your decision based on how well the attacker is in control of the situation.
3-0 and it's over.....2-1 and....well who ducking knows. Typically, the opposition have looked the more likely to score since we've cemented a good lead.
This. He got out muscled and let a Chievo player cut inside for a shot that went well over. I was dreadful positioning. Yea, he's made a couple good runs but, IMO, if you are a CB your first priority is defending.
Yeah, he's off today. Needs to pull a Zaniolo/Schick and just find a way into the game with work rate. If your touch is off , find a way to contribute regardless.

I mean his defense has been horrid at times, but he’s scored some important goals along the way. It’s not like the rest of the team has played world class defense either lol
