Credit where it's due for the players who have earned it tonight: Diawara but he's been doing that for a couple months now, Florenzi, heart and guts during the whole 90 mins, and finally Cristante who has done way better than Veretout in this game
He’ll tell him that Perotti doesn’t have the legs for 90 minutes. Thankfully Kluivert will be back now and we will have options. For the 100th time, Pellegrini is our worst player in a big game. I can’t think of a single big game he was good at other than that one derby he scored in.
Incredibly frustrating. Juve were there for the taking tonight - in all honesty this Juve side is nowhere near as good compared with recent years. Lazio showed everyone how to play against them...twice in two weeks. Our set plays and crossing was absolutely terrible. The intensity required tonight wasn’t there, Pellegrini was poor. Diawara immense yet again. Gutted for Zani
Florenzi was fantastic today, wish he would play like this every week. Diawara is our best player, selling him will be a grave mistake.
Some nice balls from Miltante there, but Milhouse nearly coughed up fatal posession a couple times too. Still Milhouse for now then. Look, I called out Pellegrini for the pussy he is long time ago, but hey, why do I bother. Welcome to 2020 fellow Roma fans. Good luck to us trying to enjoy the rollercoaster that is this dysfunctional unit as we attempt a top 4 finish this season.
Following the injury suffered during tonight’s game, Nicolo Zaniolo underwent medical assessments that confirmed the rupture of the ACL in his right knee, along with some damage to the meniscus.Zaniolo will undergo surgery on Monday. pic.twitter.com/tv0RviTQJR— AS Roma English (@ASRomaEN) January 12, 2020 [emoji22]
Nicoló Zaniolo’s injury is a cruciate (ACL). Terrible news for AS Roma, Italy and italian football - he’s a fantastic talent. Come back soon Nico! #staystrong ❤️👊🏻 pic.twitter.com/b7WNUnJoPz— Fabrizio Romano (@FabrizioRomano) January 12, 2020 Rip
I hate losing to Juve more than anyone, but losing Zaniolo hurts way worse. Hope he's ok. Just our luck that this happens to our best player. I wonder if he'll ever be the same?
Like I said. The Bad Wolf has seen a lot of shit in his day, and knows only too well good from bad. We also have inane contributers like Sal and 'Hustle and I never actually watch a Roma game', whatever he does be waffling on about. Oddball ones like Matrim.....absolute fruitcake that one. Basically the only worthwhile commentators here are the Bad Wolf, @La Magica, @Salmeen10 and @wm72....and maybe a couple others.
is it time to start checking the Trigoria grounds now, or should we wait until we have about only 10 players available to start doing something. How incompetent can a team be to have this many ACL injuries and not start acting on it. My God, it's like we are a Sunday League team sometimes
Dude... it was a shirt pull inside the box, if that was the cheaters pulling that we’d all be crying for a penalty
LMAO Can’t tell if you meant to post this from a burner account or if you’re just drunk off your ass referring to yourself in the 3rd person. Either way, respect
I’m much more worried about meniscus damage than the ACL. ACLs are easy to rehab There’s no rehabbing torn or missing meniscus. He will be bothered by that for life now. Unless there’s been some medical development lately that I’m not aware of.
Right but its BS until proved otherwise. From what I see Perotti is warming up as the game goes on and as the other teams tire his driving runs inside start to become a visible threat. I get it that he alters the shape by adding in 2 forwards and kolarov acts as a wide player anyway. However we know very well Perotti acts effectively in the center floating. Perhaps better than strictly on the wing. Given how shit Pellegrini has been it should be a no brainer. Fonseca is good but this is a mistake he continues to make.

I lost count how many times people have said Trigoria's grounds are 'abnormally hard'...do we do anything about it? Of course not. But we have a great social media team!
There has to be something to it. They spent most of their time on those pitches day in day out. Wear and tear then when they enter a game and are giving it 100% something breaks. But we make witty tweets so..

I guess the extent of damaged meniscus will be the issue. Could be very small and return like Russell Westbrook, or could be huge, like my dad, who has bone-on-bone contact now and had to get most of it removed. Hoping for the best.
