Hoy Cuero jugó todo el segundo tiempo en la derrota 5-1 contra Granada. Fue el jugador mas ofensivo del Levante en el tiempo que estuvo, causó 3 amarillas y desbordó todo lo que pudo, pero los delanteros no estuvieron afinados y Granada todas las que tuvo las metió. Lastimosamente, con este resultado Levante es de Segunda División. Quedan 4 partidos que tendría que ganar y esperar los resultados de los demás equipos para no descender (Athletic y Atlético como local y Málaga y Rayo como visitante). Lerma también fue titular y no jugó bien, el tercer gol es una cagada suya.
Cuero jugó hoy 65 minutos en el empate contra Athletic y fue uno de los jugadores más destacados del Levante, que lástima que al técnico se le haya dado por ponerlo ahora que el equipo está descendido y por sacarlo del campo cuando iban 2-0. Lerma jugó todo el partido como mediocampista, el primer gol de Levante fue un pase largo suyo que controló el delantero de Levante.
Hoy jugó su primer partido completo en la derrota 3-1 contra Málaga. Hizo un gol en fuera de juego, no cobraron un penal clarísimo contra él y anularon un gol por fuera de juego inexistente que había sido asistido por él. En fin. Yo no sé la próxima temporada donde va a estar Cuero. Es muy probable que continúe en Levante, porque el contrato que tiene es hasta 2020, pero no me extrañaría una cesión con opción de compra a un equipo de otro país (principalmente México) para no perder la inversión e intentar revalorizarlo.
Asistencia de Cuero en la victoria del Levante por 2-1 ante Atlético. Lo reemplazaron al final de partido y Lerma jugó los 90 minutos como centrocampista.

yeah they were going to that thing they do where they send good players to the second division in the draft but Cuero said no and went to Paraguay instead. Olimpia have Farid Diaz, Sergio Otalvaro and Mauricio Cuero.
Cuero is a very unique player who is a bit frustrating for me at times but is solid at other times. I decided to watch the Libertadores match against Junior and he seems to be the same type of player he was during the his sub 20 years. He is fast. He can run down the wings pretty well and cross in the air decently. It was due to his hustle and crossing ability that Olimpia won the game as he did a nice assist for Roque Santa Cruz. But he still is a bit limited when it comes to attacking away from the sidelines on counters or shooting on target. Which is probably why he is in Paraguay and not in Europe or a better South American team. In some ways I want to see what he could do for Pekerman since we should be experimenting with new blood since Cuadrado may be out for a long time. In other ways he may not be the answer.to any of our problems... ... so why waste time on him? Very frustrating because he is such a borderline type of payer for the callup.
yes, I read all 3 colombians played really well. Im happy that Cuero is at Olympia though, he could have been playing for like Tampico Madero or whatever, some lame 2nd division mexican team that they drafted him to. But he chose to turn it down and come to a big south american team.
