Re: Maurcio "El Joey" Arroyo News & Comments Thanks a lot for the info The center midfield at the moment is Nacho Garcia(Bolivian NT), Prittas(Greek NT), Nafti(Tunisian NT), one more quite young central midfielder. Aris needs one more good central midfielder at the moment and there are rumors about the former Brazilian NT player Edu. So if Arroyo impresses on Cuper and signs I guess he won't be in the starting lineup but he will have chances of course cause Cuper gives chances to everyone. He will probably be more of a player for the future and maybe have a more important role if someone of the other players on his position leaves.

They also say that he can play as a left midfielder but from what I read here he sounds more like a real defensive midfielder? He will practice with the team this week and he might get some minutes against Red Bull Salzburg on Wednesday.

Some pictures from his first performance at Aris, he played for one half in the friendly game against Red Bull Salzburg. The reports said that he was ok but not so much more which is normal since he is came to the team just a couple of days ago.
Arroyo did not impress that much in the 2 friendly games that he played and he will probably leave the team.
