    Pre-game stats.

There's not a single statistic in Tulsa's favor.

Relatively easy win or trap game?

Well. That was a close call. Thank you Luis Espino for salvaging a point.

We gave up a lousy, early goal - great service from Tulsa, though. Center ref missed a painfully obvious penalty in the box against Tulsa just a few minutes later. Bijev's game was off.

BTW, Matjesic looks like a really, really good signing. Good on the ball, good vision, plays forward on the front foot. I like him a lot.

Should have won that one, but grateful we didn't lose.

Last night's game stats. Did NOT outperform them across the board, that's for sure.

Tulsa almost worked the "How to Beat SRFC" book to perfection...
    1. Get an early goal.
    2. Park the bus.
    3. Delay, clutch, grab.

Kudos to Tulsa's trainer, he must have done a half marathon tonight just on the goalkeeper alone.

    Feh.

Lol. My son said same thing. Trainer needed a number, as often as he was on the field.

It appeared that Tulsa just picked that GK from a pub side - that is the level he belongs in - made so many errors & IMHO he let the equalizer in by fumbling the ball

My son made an observation last night regarding this strategy......"this is what makes soccer such a hard sell to the casual American fan."

It may be an effective strategy in terms of gaining points, but coupled with poor quality refereeing, makes the game less interesting than taking out the trash.
