If you start Zouma, why play with a high line? He’s clearly not suited to it! Utterly predictable. Especially when we don’t have Kante.

I think a lot of that is free runners coming at our defense from midfield - hard for any defender.

Either were better than expected or they’re worse. We’ve definitely created chances, but just in the last few minutes Mount and Abraham have botched potentially dangerous passes terribly. As someone else mentioned, Kante + RLC + Rudiger, even Willian all make this team better (and deeper).

 

Yeah, if Rud starts we aren’t a goal down.

Zouma is not up for it in the slightest. I used to be a huge fan but man has he devolved since his injury.

P.S. Rudiger can’t get back fast enough.

I will say I am pleased with how we’re playing. I knew we weren’t nearly as bad as anyone wanted to believe. Unlucky to not be a goal up.
