no comments? 2-0 win and no one? That first goal was a thing of beauty. Giovinco pass was stellar and for Jozy to take it on the outside boot, and strike it in the same way in full flight was brilliant.
I think we've been spoiled and just expect TFC to win every game now so there isn't anything to discuss unless the win is against Montreal or something crazy happens.
My only negative comment is that Altidore needs to stop picking up silly yellow cards. He frequently gets one for something unnecessary and then he eventually ends up missing a game.
Same with Seba. Got mad when the referee didn't fall (pun intended) for his dive, and threw the ball at him. He throws a tantrum like that every other game, doesn't always get punished. He's always played with his emotions on his sleeve and I suppose that makes him better but silly yellows is a downside to that. Just something to keep an eye on IMO
Gotta give credit to Mavinga. He's gotten better and better ever since that disastrous game against Atlanta.
Post game comment from Altidore. Altidore described his thought process as the play developed: “Put myself in a good spot, stay onside. And Seba is what he is. He's the best player in the league. Has been since he's been here. He'll pick you out if you stay onside.”
