Not that I want to see us tie our way through the entire season but I think that, in this case, a draw would be a good result.

Hope he's better soon and it's nothing serious.

From a match perspective it's a big loss. How do they line up at the back?

Perhaps Zav moves over to the middle to be flanked by Hagglund and Mavinga?

Might even see a return to 4 at the back. I'm not particularly psyched about a return from Mavinga already and I'm not sure Hernandez/Aubrey are ready, either through fitness or experience

    Thoughts will be with Drew

TFC attackers better be sharp tonight....I can see them giving up 3 or more goals to Columbus.

Mavinga is not even in the 18 this week. Can't say he deserved to be either. However, there aren't any natural CB's on the bench so if someone else goes down, they'll have to go back to a diamond.

Should be starting in a 4-4-2 anyway.

    Beit-hagg-Zav-Morrow

    Bradley

    Osario Cooper

    Vaz

    Altidore Giovinco

I would imagine if the lose a CB today you will see Cheryou slide in there.

Is that your ideal starting XI or the one based on the XI today? I ask because you have Osorio in there in place of Edwards.

i think you pick the best 11 based on the players available....with a depleted backline I don't want

    a) 3 at the back
    b) two attack minded players on the same side
    c) a raw rookie with no first team experience playing the 4-4-2 that I think they should be playing

but, yes, at this stage of their careers I think osario is a better player than Edwards too.

22nd minute Altidore does well to earn a corner....Vazqquez takes it puts it where Jozy can attack it and head it home from 14 yards .....1-nil TFC

I have never seen Giovinco try as hard as he did just a few moments ago to win the ball back.

to be fair I've seen that a few times......one thing we got when we signed Seba was a non-lazy superstar...very refreshing. But, yeah, that was a pretty special effort there ....no matter who you are.

38th minute Columbus tie the match on a very easy goal ....the sort that I pictured them getting a lot of tonight....i guess the positive is that it took them this long to figure it out....maybe they won't get 3?

44th minute...Columbus corner.....nodded down to an unmarked Meram who taps it in....2-1 the home side.

and it ends 2-1....TFC no longer unbeaten but, don't worry, even with Montreal winning today TFC hangs onto 9th place in the East.

    Hilarious.

On a positive note, what a game by Hagglund. I expected a disaster tbh.

How many times can this team keep pounding their heads against the wall? They kept trying to give the ball to Altidore and Giovinco with no trial runner in behind them to make the defense respect the threat. Columbus had an easy time double or triple teaming the two of them.

We make no sense. So much possesion and attack in our first 6 games and it hasn't translated into wins. I was thinking we would get our sharpness back by game 4 but it looks like this season is going to be a fight to the end to make the playoffs as opposed to fighting for the SS as many thought going into the season. Really dissapointing considering the team we have.
