What/When Toronto FC will return home to BMO Field to take on the Montréal Impact in the second leg of the Eastern Conference final on Wednesday, November 30, 2016 at 7:00 pm EST. The Impact lead 3-2 on aggregate. TV/Video This match will be shown live on TSN4 (http://www.tsn.ca/, English) and RDS (http://www.rds.ca/, French) in Canada, ESPN (http://espn.go.com/ English) in the U.S., MLS Direct Kick and MLS Live (http://live.mlssoccer.com/, U.S. only). Radio/Audio CHUM AM 1050 (http://www.tsn.ca/radio/toronto-1050, English) in Toronto; CJAD AM 800 (http:///www.cjad.com/, English) and CHMP FM 98.5 (http://www.985sports.ca/, French) in Montréal.
So, the bottom line is this: If TFC wins 1-0, 2-0 or at least 2-1, they go to the final. Any other result and the season is over. If TFC wins 3-2, it goes to extra time. Yeah, that sounds like fun. And oh yeah: hope for a Seattle win in Colorado!
Yes, win by 2, or any of the following will be a win on away goals: 1-0, 2-1. If it's 3-2 win, there's extra time. If Montreal gets 2+ goals we need to score two more to win.
I'd rather TFC was already ahead but I'm feeling pretty good about this one. With some tightening of defence and a bit better keeping I can see Montreal being limited to 1 goal. (I'd like a shutout, of course, but let's not count on it.) Then it's up to TFC to score at least two. I think that's an achievable goal for a team with this firepower. A big question for me is what Vanney will do with Johnson and Ricketts. Johnson really helped stabilize things last game but is not usually as offensively useful as Osorio in setting up attacks. We need offence since we have to score. Ricketts provides a huge offensive boost but seems better as a sub than a starter. So how does he move the pieces with Osorio, Cooper, Johnson, and Ricketts?
I could maybe see Johnson coming in for Osorio. I also wonder if there could be a switch to 4 at the back considered. I don't think Ricketts would be as effective as a starter. His role should stay as a supersub where he can terrorize tired defenders
Out of curiousity, is anyone else watching the Grey Cup right now, not cheering for either team, but really just keeping an eye on turf condition?
Of all the times the Rapids picked to lose at home (and they hadn't all season), they picked the worst today. Congrats to the Sounders for getting to the final. They'd better hope TFC doesn't win Wednesday. The Sounders host the final if Montreal wins.
Good thing for us the sounders won but if we don't make it to MLS Cup the consequences are disastrous. Either Limpact win and we never hear the end of it or Seattle wins and NOBODY ever hears the end of it
I went to the game - I was hoping the same thing - have to say though - the field has held up. Good thing the weather co-operated. Assume they've got a way to get the ads off the field.
We're getting Jair Marrufo as the referee for tomorrow's match. Toledo will also be there, but as the fourth official.

Why is this game being played several days after the other conference finals? Does that give Seattle an advantage?
