I have to say, Radhi set the team up well for this game. The substitution of Ahmed Yasin was bad though. Despite the loss, I'm satisfied with the performance. Scoring our first goal against Japan in about 16 years in Tokyo was big. We deserved at least a draw from this game. The referees have been absolute trash in these qualifiers. Pretty much every call goes against us. It's just ridiculous. We should have had a penalty vs Australia, a penalty vs KSA - and one of KSA's penalties was ridiculously soft, and then the offside goal from Japan today. Hopefully this performances gives the players confidence going forward. We're not going to the world cup. It would take a miracle for that to happen, but hopefully we can finish these qualifiers respectably and aim for success at the next Asian Cup.
Mathematically everything is possible, but I don't even want to advance to the World Cup or even play-offs. ******** this shit already, we are getting robbed every game we play.
