Morocco and Peru so far the best teams to go out in the group stage and would have been nice to see them in the knockout phase.

I dunno, but El Kaabi might have not been the best choice for the Iran game. I have the feeling that if Boutaib had played Morocco might have won. Very decent hold up play, something El Kaabi failed at.

 

Ennesyri would have been the best choice against Portugal.

 

Because for the "Moros" winning against mighty Spain, the big neighbours across the ocean with much shared history and politics (positiv and negative), would mean a lot for Morocco, Moroccans and especially it´s football. And having some strange decisions that ruins the victory is annoying. But Moroccans will take the draw and be proud anyway i assume!

 

So 3 straight errors led to that Spain equalizer.

1.Cross goes out but corner is awarded.

2. Corner is taken on wrong side of field.

3. Offside goal is given.

What a damn fraud FIFA is.

There have been plenty of other pieces of horrible officiating this cup.

I like how some people believe offside it's like an opinion you can have when it's and easy thing to check with VAR

Taken from someone in the Ref forum. First of, the ball is clearly out in the situation before the corner. Wrongfully the ref points his hand to one corner while Spain start everything from the opposite corner without the ref even paying attention! Where do they find this referees??

Morocco was out. They still finished last in the group. Better luck next time ... holy shit it's like being upset you finished last place instead of second to last

But I always said VAR will never change people who argue against the truth and now literally against straight lines. This is the first I hear about how Portugal was helped considering the way the Moroccans have been complaining about everything

Agree, the attacking midfield is more used to Boutaib than El Kaabi whose first NT game was 3 months ago. Also Boutaib's height would have been useful against Iran.

Anyway we're out but with no shame to have, with better luck or with VAR use for us too we could have gone to the 1/8 finals.

for me there was no offside and the VAR corrected it, I just wish they saw the ball going out on the cross to and cancelled the corner.
