Penultimate match of the year and one in which we can secure third place.

Should see a strong side out despite the upcoming final (let's face it we have a ludicrously scheduled friendly in the US before then in which we no doubt risk the likes of hazard).

As this is the last weekend and all teams play, feel free to post comments about the city, liverpool and other matches.

Interesting that Hazard is rested - he really did not look himself the other night. Maybe that is a mental block with his dream move approaching or maybe it was something else?

Kind of a weird line-up, but a nice aggressive start. Sarri more concerned about EL than third?

Liverpool taking care of business at Anfield. City pressuring but still goalless at Brighton

Tottenham and Liverpool make the first moves. We fall to fourth, Liverpool to the top in the live table.

Man U going out with a whimper, down 1-0 to Cardiff = hilarious. Wondering how happy they are having signed OGS instead of waiting the season out.

RLC sticks out when he’s on the ball. Absolute unit.

Really don't want our season to start in July.

Why would it start in July? 4th place doesn’t have to play UCL qualifiers anymore.

Everton equalize at Tottenham which would keep us 3rd.

    City 4-1. Phew.

And then take the lead and then Spurs equalize. I’m watching the wrong game.

Not 100% but a couple years ago. They made it so the the top 4 in the top 4 leagues auto qualify. It was around the time there was chatter about the best clubs breaking off to form their own league.
