Congrats, Terps fans. Not Maryland's best squad but definitely its most resilient. Showed a lot of heart and character.
Big-time congratulations to Maryland. A huge turnaround in-season, perhaps the most dramatic turnaround in a short period of time that I can remember, certainly for this program. And in the context of the real confusion, controversy, and tragedy that has marked Maryland this year, the Men's Soccer team comes as a ray of light, a relief, and a reminder of the good things we have here. "When we ended 2017, we challenged our players and ourselves to reset the culture of what Maryland soccer was about," Cirovski said. "That development happened throughout our entire season and ended with us as the last team smiling, the last team standing. I am so happy to have everyone here celebrating this great season tonight."
