Two goals conceded in all of Mourinho’s games thus far. I suppose that only one came from open play is sort of progress, then again Villa played them off the pitch this weekend so maybe not.

Two soft goals conceded, yet again.

United as I expected would be up for this but for our players to lack effort, desire and commitment was appalling. Jose has a massive job on to win anything with this sorry lot.

Critical errors by Sanchez, Gazzaniga and Sissoko on the goals. Our forward line was virtually non-existent, the story of the game was the 2 England strikers, theirs was brillian while ours was a no-show, like many in white.

I have nothing to say other than if Poch takes over at United, they will win the league under him. They have nearly all the pieces there.

Certainly if they play us every week. All I heard in the build up to the game was how we had the better players and the better manager so as a Spurs fan you knew what was coming. Ole has won only 7 of his 23 PL games as United boss and 2 of them have come against us. Sigh.

That wasn't a penalty, it just wasn't. It was shit from Sissoko allowing himself to be turned like that so he needed a last ditch tackle in the box, but he clearly nudged the ball away. Corner.

CM is a disaster at the minute, 6 of the 8 goals we have conceded since Jose took over have been the result of errors from our mids: Sissoko (3), Winks (2), Ndombele (1). Midfield was the difference in the game as McTominay and Fred were perfect, they made no mistakes, got the ball efficiently to the attacking players, while Winks kept giving the ball away, while Sissoko conceded a bonehead penalty.

We spent well over £100 on 3 midfielders. Why are they not playing? Why do we continue to play inferior players like Winks, Dier and Sissoko who keep failing? So frustrating.

Dele after the game: "we were overconfident and arrogant".

KInd of sums up the problems with this group: how can you be overconfident when you have won only 5 games?

It only took 3 games to instill overconfidence and arrogance! :ROFLMAO:

Ah the irony: Jose the New Humble One trying to teach humility to the arrogant Tottenham players...
