Were you on a call with a couple of expats? I can't imagine any ordinary americans giving a shit about the KNT.
How can an American talk shit about the KNT?? Not only did they fail to qualify in a horrible confed., have they ever produced individual players of similar calibre to CBK, PJS, SHM or even KSY? No. They have the likes of freddy adu, landon donovan, clint dempsey and the most overhyped youngster in the world, pulisic.
No, which makes it worse. They were talking about placing bets using some guide they printed out. So clueless that they thought Sweden was some powerhouse like they are in cross country skiing.
if it wasn't for the MLS team snatching him, I would've recommended Anthony Hudson, former New Zealand manager. The Kiwi team he organized impressed me-- both against us in international friendly (Stielike era, post AC 2015), and (less so) Confederations Cup 17.
Have him out, I'm so done with his bullshit. 1. His shitty players selection. 2. His shitty formations 3. His stupid "tricks" 4. His stupid tactics. Man his dumb pre-WC antics is so imfamous now that it was the only thing our Canadian commentators was talking about regarding this team.
Equal parts incompetence and (undeserved) arrogance. Sadly, the KFA and the KNT are just microcosms of Korean culture so I don't expect any change anytime soon.
Do you guys think KFA will change?\ If not we're fcked, Koreans will lose interest in this sport and it'll be gone in oblivion. Thank you Korean leaders.
The fault is also with the Korean fans. Like, I'm reading that some Korean fans are saying the penalty was controversial? Bitch please, the only thing controversial about it was that it wasn't called right away. Delusional fans make room for delusional leaders.
Shin Tae Young is nothing but a meme https://www.facebook.com/soccermeme...369765788612/2135634993162071/?type=3&theater
In limited time, you do not play tricks and waste time with useless tactics and shit trickery like “switching player numbers”... 100% managers fault for lack of cohesion confusing the fck out of his own players.
Bielsa wouldn't last very long in Korea. KNT manager needs to be more of Yes Man, except when your CV says you're a World Cup semifinalist, Korea hasn't yet won a World Cup match, and you don't have to outperform HIddink.
It's useless in hiring a foreign manager when Korean football overall is in shambles. What needed to happen is a complete revolution of the KFA after Hiddink and invested in a proper youth programme led by a competent Technical director. What can a highly accomplished foreign manager do when our players do not possess the basic fundamentals of football skills. If you can't trap, hold, pass the ball and have reasonable football IQ than it is totally useless. Look at Belgium they invested in their youth programme many years ago and now it's bearing the fruits. We have byungshins coaching and playing.
