5 Days till someone gets slaughtered...

    urm.

... or something like that anyway.

What line up shall we see? will Moyes have found the way to break whatever needs to be broken down in order for us to get goals? Will we play to our opponent's level - like we seemingly love to do - and give an amazing performance? Or will we come out dull and lackadaisical and frustrate us all?

For us Americans, this is an early early 7:45am EST game. I know the bar here in NYC will be open and I hope it's hopping.

    COYB!!!

I don't know... I just know that Joe the bartender said he'd open up for us... he may have been assuming that all Man U games are broadcast... which they normally are...

    I really hope it's on!

Because of the change in schedule, I haven't seen it on any TV yet. :(

ESPN2 is showing West Ham @ Chelsea.

At the risk of being labelled the biggest-loser-who-knows-eff-all-about-footy, I have just accepted an invitation to be on the BBC Sports talk radio show starting at approximately 12:30EST this saturday, after the ManUre game.

I cannot tell you how much I want us to win now... :D

I want to see rodwell start, in the middle with arteta, and I want to see Gueye on the right, can't do worse than we've had. and I want felli sat (sorry but between him and arteta, i choose mikky every time). Cahill I want pushed way up, as a 2nd striker almost.

I know I likely won't see this, but that's what I want to see. I want us to play like we can, not how we have been.

Because they asked me. Apparently they get hundreds of manc phone calls but very few Everton so he was lining people up... ~shrug~

Might as well. I love Everton and I have been promoting the new york evertonians to try and get people aware of us being here in NYC and at Mr. D's bar. Guess they came across my info somewhere.

I just hope there's something good to talk about! :) we will likely see felli in midfield - i knew wanting rodwell it was a long shot but now with his ankle injury (if valid reporting by the mail) there's no shot. :(

    oh wells.

Is this going to be streaming anywhere? I went to get FS+ to my U-Verse package only to find that they do not carry it. I thought they did.

    take your pick

I really hate these "big" games being on so early... I won't miss going the bar for them, but it's ungodly, the hour I must arise to get there on time :(

Wow. I was expecting a 3-1 maybe 4-1 loss. Never say die or what...! Proper glad Jags didn't finish that at the end after the whistle, seeing that go in after the ref idiotically blowing the whistle during our counter would have been too much.

Great finish, but Moyes has to get a ********ing grip.

    Coleman, Yak, Bily in
Ossie, Hibbo, and especially ********ing Distin out. I've always thought Yobo was the better defender than Distin, this game just confirmed it for me.

Distin was a horror show. Jags was alright, but the Centre of Defence was horrible disjointed because of Distin not pulling his weight. 4-6-0 in this game was horribly puzzling, Yakubu looked bright when he came on, how the hell did he manage to hold off United's defence and squeeze that ball through to Osman?

Howard MOTM no doubt about it.

Why on earth would you drop Hibbo? Hardly put a foot wrong all season.

As for Distin, yes he had a bad game but has been decent in the previous games. Jags wasnt much better.

Hibbo has been brilliant so far this season. Lay off Jagielka, he wasn't bad today apart from a few mislaid passes. You do realise playing at Centre Half requires a good understanding with your partner, and if they're having a howler a la Distin, you're not going to look like a World Beater.

Could say that about Distin all season as Jags has been shocking. Jags wasnt good today neither, its just Distin totally stunk
