Squad for what? Is it permanent? Who selected them? Why is it Mahzala, and who would you choose otherwise?

Sorry guys but I haven't been following the league that well for the past few years.

Squad for the Asian Cup 2007, well I think its a mahzala because they left some interesting players like Mohammed Noor or Khoja (hes performance in the last games was poor though).

Btw I read that Noor attacked a reporter after his arrival in Riyadh, is that true or just a media fluke?

Mohamed Nour and also Hasan Mouath, its unbelievable he didn't choose them. Other than that its acceptable. Let's hope they can do something next month. And some players will be leaving, its 33 it will be down maybe to 23 or 25.

Khojah isn't in his good performance, in terms of goalies its good, Musayleem is the best, and Waleed abdullah is the olympic goalie and good and has lots of future potential.

The goalkeeper selection is poor. Not a single established keeper and even worse, non of them are keepers with any potential.

Saudi64, If Waleed Abdullah was that great, why doesn't Shabab play him ahead of Khojah? If he's not good enough to tend goal for Shabab in their critical games against Wehda and Sepahan, then how is he good enough for the NT?

To be fair though, the choices aren't brilliant this year. Tayseer al-Nteif is the form keeper at the moment, but he IS Tayseer al-Nteif. Mabrouk Zayed isn't himself since injury, Daeye is washed up, and Khojah is making some crazy mistakes. But I would've liked at least one of them in the squad for experience.

The midfield is crazy. Very poor balance of players. Now that Shalhoub is injured we have no decent creative player. And of course the biggest joke, not picking Noor. It's like Japan not calling Nakamura.

There are some players god knows where and on what basis did he pick them. And also some other absences.

    But hey, who cares anymore.

Waleed Abdullah lacks the experience to play in such important games, and even his addition to the NT isn't to play as a starter, but to gain some international experience. Musaylem is probably the best, most consistent lately compared to other goalies. And shalhoub isn't injured anymore, right now he is ready.

Khoja is not that good imo Musaylem is the best right now, I am also suprised that they didn't call Al-Deyea after his great performance this season espicially in the Asian Champions League.

Noor is a must, I can't c any goal makers in the Saudi Arabia except of him Nwaf and Al-Shalhoub. Nwaf is not at his best right now and Al-Shalhoub is injuered and we don't know if he is going to play or not, so Noor is the only one who can support Yasser and Malek.

No doupt they are great players, however these players depand on skills more then goal making also they lack the experiance which is important.

also Abdu needs someone like al Shalhoub besides him we all saw thier great works in the Gulf Cup :)
