One match away from a trip to Wembley - and a 33% chance of facing Bradford/Reading.
With no midweek game next week, I expect to see a strong lineup. Would be surprised if there are any changes to the side that faced Burnley.

Another game we "should" win - but these are always tough...

I think it is quite interesting that a number of our recent goals have come from brilliant strikes from the top/outside the box...a result no doubt of the defense packing the box with eight or ten men, and allowing us to move the ball laterally...it is obvious to me that Coutinho and Henderson have been working on their shooting, as their last few goals have been brilliant - may they continue!...with a fully-fit Sturridge opening up passing lanes inside the box, and with Ibe, Sterling, Markovich, Lallana providing quickness and pace...I think our offense is going to really open up soon...and that will provide opps for Balloteli and Borini to score some "garbage" goals...when we have that kind of multi-threat offense...and we continue to be strong at the back...oh joy, but good things will happen!

Score first, score early. Rinse and repeat...!!!

We're on our sod. Anfield..! Don't let them into the game.

The last thing we need is a replay on their sod we know where that goes. Two hours plus PK's.

Ken's right, as ever. Win this at Anfield. We need to play our best team. To me, currently, that is the team that played on Wednesday. Maybe give SG, Mario, and/or Marko a run out later. But win

    Is Sahko expected back?

Could see Marko in for Sterling but other than that wouldnt expect too many changes.

    Glenn Johnson starts.

Mignolet, Can, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson, Markovic, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho, Sterling, Sturridge

Not sure how we will line up, but hopefully like this:

    Mingolet
    Johnson Skrtel Lovren
    Lallana Can Henderson Markovic
    Sterling Sturridge Coutinho

Interesting that Johnson starts. Him and Lovren are the stuff of defensive nightmares for me but I could quite possibly be living in the past.

Word is that Joe Allen was injured in training yesterday, hence Johnson replacing him.

Raheem on the left wing. Markovic on the right. Lallana through the middle with Coutinho. Can in midfield.

Shit - Skrtel knocked out on a challenge in the first two minutes. Both players jumped and Skrtel came down all wrong. Has been lying prone for a couple of minutes already. He will be replaced by Toure.

Wow. That adds an immediate twist to the game.

And hopefully Skrtel is ok. This isn't looking great. it looked like he may have been knocked out on the landing - they will be stretchering him off. 7 minute delay already.

This looks bad, he hasn't moved at all since falling. The way he landed looks like he may have seriously hurt his back or shoulder. Hope he's ok :(

I think its disrespectful for the Blackburn fans to be making so much noise when Skrtel is clearly seriously injured.

Blackburn has come out with the sole intention of not letting us pass from the back.

    Should've been a penalty there.

No...if that were Kolo on Gestede and it were given I'd be fuming. Good no-call.

Unlike this clueless commentator, have the benefit of replay on the DVR,

An absolute outright penalty missed. Defender got Lallanas' foot not the ball.
