When I think back to the Hicks/Gillette debacle and how close the club were to being completely fooked financially, I'm astounded at how far the team has come.
Snoogy doogy - what grown person says that I'll get a player called "snoogy doogy". I'm getting old - but was that serious even then? What the F is a "snoogy doogy?" Also - Spade in the ground in 60 days (?) - yeah that was AWESOME. Let me also pay my affiliated architects multi-millions to come up with some garbage plans. Hey Blow Me - ******** Face... and the best ever - "EPIC SWINDLE" what a ********ing nightmare.
Its kind of cool to see the same guys here from then. Lots of internet communities can be so transitive. Its nice coming back to a place where you can recognize everyone and bond over shared nightmares over Hicks/Gillet. lol
A look at training grounds- which we are set to improve shortly! https://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/f...de-training-grounds-Premier-League-clubs.html
Lovren could end up in jail ..... ? https://readliverpoolfc.com/2018/09/19/lovren-charged-with-perjury/ Lovren allegedly provided a false testimony in the trial of former Croatian football administrator and sports agent Zdravko Mamic. The defender could now face anywhere between six months and five years in prison, alongside Real Madrid midfielder Luka Modric. They are both said to have illegally pocketed 50% of their transfer fees and were given money by Mamic’s son, who was their agent. Mamic is set to fight the case and it is claimed that it could take years before a final verdict is made and Lovren is facing a prison sentence. The transfer in question is Lovren’s move to Ligue 1 side Lyon from Dinamo Zagreb in 2010. Liverpool are yet to make a comment on the situation.

Not Liverpool, but an interesting article: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2018/oct/10/leeds-owner-premier-league-two-replace-championship
Very interesting as that is pretty much the same argument some top 6 clubs were making for an increased share of the revenue streams.
nostalgia time .... In 1987-88, the BBC’s Goal of the Season was made up entirely of those scored by Liverpool players
