Can admitted fault for their goal.

He had a good overall regardless.

That's how you punish the league also-rans. Thought Ox was terrific. Much better as a starter, than off the bench. VVD has certainly made a difference. The team is quite a watch right now.

I agree but it's that sh!thouseness which will prevent him from being a great player.

That’s the third time he’s done that. Scoring goals has become boring for him.

Imagine if he was to miss while doing that?

4-1 with 3 valuable points in a workman like practice match.

I felt certain that Mo had scored 2 1/2 minutes in. So did Mo. He really has to learn how to head the ball though, he missed another easy header letting it bounce off the top of his head.

Once we finally scored through Can the game was much of a forgone conclusion. The team managed it well without that desperation to score and the goals came.

Déjà vu for me watching Andy Robbo run the wing head down shoulder hunched. That could have been Cally. Ian Callahan. I hope he has a career like him.

I saw that nasty little shit Evra in the line up. Then he disappeared until the. 89th minute when he fell over going at TAA. Usless waste money but that's Moyes.
Fernandes has lost the Chicherito flair. No darting runs across field. No running at his man. More Moyes?

One of their players, Zabaleta has always been a good addition to any team in his long career. Slowing down a tad now though.

Adam Lallana with his new WWII German hair style got a run out. I love his moves rusty as he is but he's always had trouble finding the goal. Solanke can't find the net either but he was just a time filler today.

All in all .... See my opening paragraph. :)

Just after the restart,Arnautovic goes on a mazy run down our left and jinks past Trent,Can and Matip and VVD steps in almost saying "Not happening with me", nonchalantly disposessing the Austrian..What A Stud..In a Team so motivated to throw bodies forward in attack,Hes like our Pegasus at the Back and if we are going to go on and Finallt win the Premier League in the next few Seasons,Hes going to be CLUTCH.

Our back four doesn’t seem like such a weakness anymore. Our fullbacks are excellent and Virgil is special, and Karius has solidified the goalkeeping position. Klopp has given both Lovren and Matip a chance to partner VVD, and next season when Cylne is fit again, Gomez will have a chance to earn the spot next to Virgil.

He actually recovered 4-5 yards on their goal as well and almost blocked the shot.

I'm going to this one. Flying out Wednesday night with my two sons. Their first time to visit Lpool and Anfield . Last time back for me was 1999 so plenty will have changed ...... looking forward to the match and to meeting up with a couple old mates.

Wow! What a trip. Gonna be fun for you all. 1999 had seen a few changes!!! How old are the boys? It'll be a different world for them.

I was able to watch the second half this evening. Impressive performance, even as the team didn't appear to be firing on all cylinders. These guys are something to watch.

Poor Danny Ings can't catch even the smallest break. This would have been a natural spot for him to get 10-15 minutes: big lead lead at home against a weak opponent. But of course he was sick.

I must say the Millie & Ox are doing a superb job in filling in for that bastard at Barca. Firmino grooves on, Salah scores another and Mane is back in form! Fab 5 maybe? Can's goal was lovely too.

2nd and leapfrogging Scum Utd, the added bonus!

We look a better side with VVD and without Phil than we did with Phil and without VVD.

I was talking to a kid who supports Real M, and he said sumpin about how LFC doesn't have Coutinho any more and I aptly observed that the team is scoring more goals now.

It's not that difficult when you are round the keeper (well, I''l add, on a good surface - never try this on a wet sunday morning league pitch ....!!)

one thing that strikes me lately is that everyone is playing well now. No one's zoning out... can't wait to see the CL draw for the quarters ....

can't decide if I'd prefer a big match-up or to hope for the weakest side??

United should they come through (is still a big match up because of the historical animosity/rivalry) even though they look one of the two weak winner options that it would be desirable for teams to draw, the other being out of Shaktar / Roma....

Hopefully you said with something approaching amused tolerance.
