I still don't actually blame pickford for that. Ball looked initially like it would end up in Stanley Park. By th etime he adjusted it was coming down on top of him. Foresight would have said turn and leap and punch it away for a corner, but who would have considered that... No goalkeeper would have .... And of course because it came down dirtectly on top of the bar his hands couldn't be bent far enough back to touch it properly..... Unfortunate for him, delightful for us .... but i really wouldn't class it as a goalkeeping error.

I listened to Men in Blazers this week to hear Rog cry, and they both thought the Ev created more chances. I guess that is the new standard, creating 1 chance for every 3 of ours equals more chances.
Any keeper with normal length arms would have dealt with that ball easily, so I agree to a point it wasn't really his fault. He can't help that he was born with shorter than normal arms.
