If the referee played advantage it would still be a penalty. You don't get a free foul just because you're benefiting from the advantage. It's amazing how many supporters don't understand the laws of the game.
Momentous momentous Win. Biggest game of the season. 8 points from top. (Lysester) 9 over Citeh. I love VAR Life is good.
Nope it wouldn't trents handball is a direct result of silvas handball so it's one situation hence he let's play go on
Supporters, yes. Less forgivable is the ignorance of the pundits who are paid handsomely to provide a technical side to the commentary,
Glad to see Sterling keeps his consistency of being a mouthy diving child everytime he goes to Anfield. Get out of here son. Good job Reds!!
The most surprising thing for me was how ordinary they made City look. Gary Neville had it bang on when he called City's defense a mid-table defense.
I loved seeing Guardiola trying to "klopp it" at the end of the game. Something about him feels so staged to me, like a sociopath trying to replicate human warmth and geniality after a loss, but its faked. Him going after the refs with sarcasm really sealed how the whole thing was just an act. He doesn't want to congratulate opponents and shake their hands, he's just going through the motions so he can build some good will before being snarky to the refs.
Sterling squaring up to Gomez reminded me of Fellaini (and his hilarious incredulous reaction) when Jack Wilshire squared up to just above Fellaini's navel...
Let me understand this, so Bernardo Silva handles. It's significantly less black and white for the player getting an advantage as an attacking player and he handles, it's an automatic whistle. Then it hits TAA' s hand. Is it a clear and obvious error that Oliver didn't blow the whistle for a penalty against TAA if he believed that if not for Silva's handball TAA couldn't have avoided the handball? Or that he didn't believe the hand was in an unnatural position? Honestly, I'm curious about your support for your position.
Why pull laws out of thin air like this? Why make rules up? It's not a slight on Liverpool to admit that VAR got it wrong. Even the Premier League aren't claiming that the Bernardo Silva handball was a factor. The Premier League claim that the penalty wasn't given because the hand was in a natural position. I think the precedent set so far under the new rules makes that absurd. But yes, hypothetically if the referee had let it go because TAA couldn't avoid it (again, not the case according to officials) then that would be a clear and obvious error in my opinion. The distance the ball travels is plenty for TAA to get out of the way. He actually seems to move his arm towards it, if anything.
It's one situation he sees one handball Liverpools ball. He sees the next handball OK it was clearly a result of the first one, play on. It is not that difficult to make sense of the situation
In that 3 min Interview,Pep mentioned that they are back to back Champions like 3000 times. He knows that Crown won't sit on him for much Longer. Massive Win but one match at a time. YNWA
Jeesus. Stop F'kn whining. The game is over. We won 3-1. We came out on the wrong side of a call against manure. Cost us the only points we've lost this year. But it's all under the bridge now. Grow up and get over it. Enjoy the drive back up the East Lancs Road.
