what was most impressive is that he has enough lower body strength to fend off that lunk from Leicester.
similar to the goal vs Bitters where he shrugged off a defender. with the ball at his feet, in sight of goal, he's like a man possessed. love it ....
alot of salah's chances dont get to shots after he has taken on half the team meanwhile Kane does ******** all and just turns up in the space again and again
Can't remember the last time we came back from a goal down to win but that was lovely. Salah creates goals from Sweet FA. Reminds me of Chomper Suarez. Nice lad to have around. Would've liked to see Lallana get some mins but he won't be fit until March. Only 3 off Scum.
I think the team for Monday is going to be filled in like this: ----------Migs----------- AA----Lovren--Klavan----______ Wij------Ox------Lallana Mane----Solanke---______ I can't see Firmino, Coutinho, or Salah starting (especially after he picked up a knock).
Isn't that too risky against a team which more likely than not will seek to launch the ball over the top especially into wide areas?
Late post here and its all been said, a great win because we didn't fold after the early brain fart. Hung in there and came back against a dangerous counter attacking side. Hope the Pharaoh's OK.
I think you’re right. This will be a tough game to win. If Burnley rotated their squad, would anyone even notice? Any eleven Premier League players are capable of executing what their game plan will be. We are going to need quality out of some of our reserve players to pull off a result.
Burnley is a hard place to get a good result, but maybe their team will be tired at this point - they don't have the luxury of much squad rotation. a hard game to plan for with the Bitters game coming up. I doubt Klopp will risk Salah or Phil. at least to begin. hopefully we won't need them. with luck Fat Sam's bunch will kick the bejeesus out of the Moaner's bunch in the late game tomorrow.
What are you talking about, ffs ... what goes on just before the moment of finishing doesn't have any bearing on how good the finishing is. What goes on directly/just beofrehand get you into any of a myriad possible scoring poisitions, from which one then tries to finish. Salah may be a winger-genius like Ryan Giggs and Steve Mcmanaman, but he is a also a winger like david ginola and Pires and Robben - on with the finishing skills of a centre forward .....
Most center forwards can head the ball and usually dont need several touches, how many of salahs goals have been right place right time? Virtually none of his goals are easy too
Well, not that it matters much to the argument but he has scored one of the best headed goals of the season. He's not really playing inside the box waiting for crosses. And your point on this only further validates mine........ "Virtually none of his goals are easy too" that he has to make a good finish accurately. That's what good finishers (like Suarez and Torres) do.
