Alisson Milner Gomez Virgil Robertson Fabinho Ox Keita Mane Firmino Origi Subs: Adrian, Lovren, Trent, Wijnaldum, Elliot, Brewster, Salah. Rest Salah because he is still dealing with the ankle injury. Give Gomez a start. Rest one of the fullbacks and play Milner. Fabinho back in. Starts for Ox and Naby.
Maybe. The good thing about Milner is he can play either side. We could even sub Trent on for Robbo and switch Milner to the other side.
This will be the 4th match on the trot that normal people won't get. Appreciate any comments from the game. Just win guys. Just pass the ball to players on our side and things will come right.
What we've been forgetting lately. Lessons from the past. Football is a simple game based on the giving and taking of passes, of controlling the ball and of making yourself available to receive a pass. It is terribly simple. Bill Shankly
Liverpool: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Milner, Fabinho, Wijnaldum, Keita, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Salah, Origi. Subs: Adrian, Lovren, Firmino, Mane, Lallana, Robertson, Jones. --------- Some big rotation!!
Could that be a diamond formation? Alisson Trent Gomez Virgil Milner Fabinho Gini Keita Ox Salah Origi
says keita in that coutinho LW position on the graphic... i'm skeptical, but I'd be happy to see Keita played further forward to possibly get him involved in a goal and get his confidence boosted a bit.
Yeah, that's unsurprisingly wrong, Origi is wide left in the Mane role. Salah wide right, Gini as "9" as ewibe suggested.
For those needing a stream - I'm so far having luck with lfcglobe, stream #1 Mods, apologies and please delete if it's against the T&C.
First minute and Liverpool is had the ball pretty much the whole time...Genk has kicked it Outabounds a couple times...
10 minutes in… Liverpool still has most of the possession but no real threats on goal… I don’t think Genk has had the ball in Liverpool’s half for more than a pass or two
Milner played in, hard low cross deflects off a defender to Gini, who pokes it into the roof of the net. Ox and Keita combining well so far.
