FT 3-0 to Liverpool Gini the MOTM for that rocket that opened them up. But also strong all round match. I want to say, he didn't score but EMRE was imperious. Coutinho-- what can one say? That free kick goal and tremendous passing. Lallana looked back to his best -- great feet and vision Danny --- really worked hard even if he didn't score Same for Hard Bobby Milner was the full Milner Clyne the same steady hand Lovren -- lots of brain farts. Matip-- very good Mignolet-- ruled his box when needed and a few great saves Glad to see Lucas celebrated Farewell Moreno Not enough to mention for Origi Klopp -- you are the man! YNWA. See you in the Champions League. And congrats to all the Yank supporters at Anfield today. Have a few pints for us

Fantastic result!!! In retrospect, it was a great season. 16 points more than last year. We missed Sturridge for 18 games, Mane for 11, Hendo for 14 and still made it to CL. Only 6 defeats - but to Burnley, Bornemouth, Swansea, Hull, Palace, and Leicester. This is encouraging for next year's CL qualifications and hopefully group stages - we do well against good teams. Let's get some depth in the off season, figure out how to go past the parked bus, and do it all again next year . PS And whatever happens, do NOT sell Coutinho
Thought some of decision-making was a bit like during the early days to be honest. Also took one touch too many when the team was attacking. But here is nothing like a two-footed player in the box.
So now to piss on the parade - we have a qualifier to play. Hopefully second leg at home. BUT - we are seeded - so we should get a "reasonable" draw.
Awesome result today. That goal by Gini on the stroke of half-time was the tension busting breath the reds needed going into the half. Boro had a few chances but it really changed the complexion of the game from then on, with Phil and Lallana's goals ensuring victory. Well done, boys! Onward and upward.
Well ,that was a very important result and my summer will be a good one now . Looking forward to see which players come in to strengthen us for next season.
Nerve wracking first half, but outstanding overall game! Really important next step to get us back up where we belong.
MAN PLAYED MILNER AT LEFT BACK ALL SEASON AND GOT US INTO THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE. BUILD KLOPP A FUCKING STATUE RIGHT NOW.— - (@AnfieldRd96) May 21, 2017
They put the one minute sign up for the first half and I said to Mrs Scouse we're about to score. She laughed because Boro were attacking right then and then bingo!!!! Second half was just like I said last night. Pressure off team having fun and the crowd singing. Good way to end a strange season.
What nerve-racking first half! Beautiful goal by George to send everyone into halftime with goose-bumps. And then Phil's curler of a free-kick sent me over the edge. It's a beautiful day. Hello, Champions League!

Season stats: Only Chelsea (457 minutes) were in a losing position in Premier League matches for less time than Liverpool (471 mins) this season. Liverpool were unbeaten in the Premier League against the top seven teams this season (P12 W7 D5 L0) but their record against the other 13 sides was (P26 W15 D5 L6). Thanks to their 4-0 away win at West Ham United in May, Liverpool won a Premier League match at a 52nd Premier League stadium - more than any other side. Liverpool had 80.4 per cent possession in their away game at Burnley in August but still lost 2-0. This was the highest possession recorded by a losing side in a Premier League game since 2006-07.
