Our next match posted 12 hours ago and all you hear are crickets. Chriip, chriip.

Good that we're at home. The Arse always have trouble here. (Here being about 6,000 miles away)

    Three points would be nice.

Three points is more than nice, it's necessary and huge. Let's do it.

Here’s my prediction for what the team will be:
    Adrian
    Trent Gomez Virgil Robertson
    Fabinho
    Henderson Wijnaldum
    Salah Firmino Mane
He could go for Matip over Gomez. For now, I think this is the preferred midfield. The rest of the team picks itself.

Gomez over matip for covering pace I would say.

As always...score early, score often...and keep the ball out of Adrian's feet

    In for the win!

Might be a close one, with LFC's defensive inconsistency and Arsenal's new-look attack.

I think a 2-1 or 3-1 to the good guys feels about right. Maybe 3-2? Just win.

    ....and importantly. A clean sheet.

I think clean sheets at this juncture are going to be a bit harder to come by at least against a team of the caliber of Arsenal (we probably should have had one against Soton).

With the higher line and the defensive inconsistency and Adrian in goal - it's a tough ask.

I do think our back four is going to tighten up eventually as they get used to this higher line

We should have enough to score at least a couple with our front three

Could be 3-2 as some suggest but hope we play well for 90 minutes and concede less chances than we have been

If they open up and attack us we will murder them

Any idea when Alisson is back? Adrian’s been good (even with that silly mistake last weekend), but I’d like to have our starting keeper back.

Think Klopp will continue to play the high back line without Becker?

I asked for a 38-0-0 record with 38 clean sheets. Look what that got me... ;)

I've only seen a few minutes of Arsenal this season, so I don't know what to expect from them. They've got fire power up top which makes me nervous. How have they looked defensively?

I haven't watched them either but the game reports are saying their defence and midfield are weak spots.

Arsenal do have an exciting attacking unit but so do we and we're European champions so 3-1 to the Reds !

I think it's funny that people assume there'll be a higher defensive line in this game. there may be, of course, but we don;t know yet....

I do - they did against Southampton and Klopp seems convinced it’s the way to go with VAR

I've watched them play a little and from what i've seen we should score at least 3. They're not the most organized and the 2 CBs look slow. If they come out and play we should shred them. Luiz hit some decent passes. I would be shocked if we kept a clean sheet. I think they'll get 2 but we should be able to get 3 or more

I watched a preview show yesterday -- 3 pundits -- one said we'll score 6 -- the other 2 (the ex-Arse players) spent the next 30 mins or so telling everyone how exciting Arsenal's attack and midfield are ....
