The dropoff difference in quality of crossing/passing and even overall play from Robbo/Trent to Milner/Williams is profound.

Holy shit Origi scored again. ********ing hell. Wow.

Brewster's turn of pace and speed are insane.

Brewster,Jones and Elliott are going to be Kop legends 15 yrs from now.

Wow great penalties from our side.
Jones deserves a shot on the big stage, excellent when coming on, an assist and calm as Milner on penalties.

    What A Win.

The Belief a Win like that gives you when practically your C team pulls it out of the bag can fuel our Title charge this Season at those crucial moments.

Winning is a Habit and while were at it, FFS let's also win the Carabao & FA Cups this Season :whistling:

    YNWA.

Yes, Jones got the winning spot kick. Looked light years ahead of Keita, which I'm not sure is an indictment of Keita or high praise for Jones.

As frustrating as this match was to watch at times, as it turned out, I wouldn't have it any other way. Thoroughly entertaining and an instant classic. Origi yet again with the clutch goals... He's made for these games.

Origi was crap for 75% of this match but he's got a knack for showing up when he's needed.

I have never enjoyed the League Cup this much. Our defense was a mess, and we made some horrendous mistakes that led to goals, but who cares.

Oxlade-Chamberlain's goal to make it 4-3 was out of this world. It might have been as good as the one he scored against Genk. I hope he starts against City. Then Divock Origi did what he does best...score the 4th goal of the game. Just when you thought that it was lost, Origi comes through with yet another brilliant goal. The penalties were all excellent, and Kelleher came through with a penalty save that he will remember for the rest of his life.

Some of the kids can be really proud of their performance. Neco Williams worked so hard, and his cross assisted on the equalizer. Harvey Elliot is absolutely a player. He is so confident and so talented. Brewster got better and better as the game went on. He was still running at them in stoppage time going for a winner. His pace really frightened Arsenal's defense, and he took his penalty well. Curtis Jones comes on for Keita, and Liverpool started playing better. What a moment for him to score the winning penalty.

Liverpool had a 17 year-old playing at centerback, but Arsenal did not. Their back line was made of experienced first team players, and we put 5 goals past them.

It's only the League Cup, but this could be a big win. It keeps the momentum going in what could be a really special season. Some say that we don't need the distraction of the League Cup. It will only become a problem if we let it. If Klopp continues to make eleven changes and give this group of players ownership of the competition, our first eleven won't be affected at all. Lets hope for a kind draw in the next round.

Cochester United and Oxford United will be in the draw. I'll take one of them.
