you don't need to be...you have .888 reps per post. that's the highest rate in the history of ever. me, i'm at .266, so you can see how i would hate your kind... plus, you have 95437592753 posts. that's an exaggeration, but only by a factor of 27366
i have over 3400 posts as royalstilton, last being in 2010. i was much more interesting then. for some reason, i only got 43 rep points. i think that's a mistake, somehow. not that anyone is interested, but in a change of computers, my royalstilton account got lost. Al Gore, why, oh why?
Nigerian Talents To Return To Liverpool For Further Assessment http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=19229
The same thing could happen as with Sinclair ie we have the player see out his contract(one year to go I think) and if no suitable fee is offered we can go to tribunal to collect compensation. So unless there is a decent bid made this summer there's no need for us to do anything just yet.
I must say I have been impressed with Kent, Brannagan, Smith, Alexander-Arnold, Woodburn and Stewart this pre-season. Sometime ago, must have been three years, a colleague who teaches PE and (an ardent Arsenal fan so no rose-tinted rede) told me that Liverpool and Ajax had the best Academies in Europe and the crop of youngsters coming through would take the game by storm. He was laughed out of the [cricket] pavilion in Leamington where we had just thrashed the locals and the local ale was flowing. Yet he has visited academies all over Europe and would know what he is talking about. Typical! I think I'm beginning to see what he was talking about. I'm sure Lb and terp, among others who have been follering the sprogs, will agree that the youngsters have been quite impressive of late and we may just be on the verge of something very good. Hopefully the ones who leave will be because they have failed to make the grade (or have got impatient) and not that they have had their paths blocked by yet another average acquisition from elsewhere.
I don't even follow as closely as some - but we certainly have some top level talent - and that's with some of the academy players having broken into the first team and still being moved on for a variety of reasons: Sterling - we all know the deal Suso - might have been overrated by us, might not have fit the PL style of play (Spain suited him and clearly so do Italy) - or maybe he needed the right manager (shame would have been interesting to see if he could have been a deep lying playmaker for Klopp) Ibe - needs games and consistency Canos - admired by Klopp but there's a disconnect. I don't personally think he's a top level PL player. Rossiter - same problem - wants games and doesn't really want to fight for a place. Then all the kids mentioned by Red Bird - just shows how hard it is to "make it". That doesn't even include players like Harry Wilson and a few others that were supremely rated but injured last season. Add in Ejaria and Ojo too.
What Terp said. I think Adam Phillips and Liam Coyle have a future in football too. Hopefully for us.
