It's bad but not horrible. Hopefully (with the right lineups and planning) we can come out the other side still with a clear advantage and another trophy in the cabinet.
They’re all difficult but there’s one that stands out for travel: 22nd: CWC Final / 3rd Place Play Off 26th: Leicester (A) 8pm Not even 4 days to get back from Qatar and train and prepare for Leicester away. Tough ask.
Not so sure. Along with the ECWC, it’s the one major trophy we’ve never won. I think the club and team will want it.
There is a chance to give the players a big rest between Watford on the 14th and the World final on the 22nd. I think we can get away with playing the 2nd team in the semi final. The players can also enjoy some warm weather training in the middle of December. December is busy for everyone. The more problematic thing might be the West Ham fixture that had to be moved to January. January and February is where we have struggled the most in recent years. I’m sure Klopp and the staff have a fantastic plan in place for how to manage it all.
