I’d say Tom cruise is pretty World renowned and actually underrated actor His membership with the cult(church?) of Scientology doesn’t help him in the popularity stakes but he is box office material and has helped gross many billions of dollars Marlon Brando is a legend even with an irregular career as his I can’t think of a more iconic role than his(the godfather part 1) Even if you’ve never heard his name the likelihood that you have used one of his lines or at the very least are familiar with them is astronomically high I don’t think his performance will ever be topped by anyone(certainly not in terms of iconic status)
