What a disgrace by Corinthians' fans. Everyone hates losing, but shit...Good job by the cops not letting the mass get in. A few got through, but the huge mass got controlled.

This is part of South American football. Doesn't look like it'll ever go away. :(

Just shows how overrated Corinthians is, never won any championships outside Brasil, where mediocre in the group stages and where owned by River.. hell even our baby brother Paulista was able to beat River in Brasil

    It's not a real riot unless there's a wheelbarrow.

Yea, but it was a win that did not really count as a win.. River put like 95% subs, so its not really a win over River.. If the normal starters went, then the 4-1 that we saw in the Monumental would have been repeated.

Libertad has been pretty impressive so far, they look very organized, despite being an Olimpia fan i got a soft spot for Libertad in these tournaments

I'm an usual Bobadilla critizer but hes been lookin pretty good lately.. maybe he should stay as a sub keeper for Villar insted of Derlis Gomez

I also like how Pablo Guinazu has been playing, he got skills

Be prepared to have aca w/ your beans when you lose......

you are not worried ! i doubt that. If you were beaten at home by Chivas you can also be beaten by the Pincha Rata, Lets face it you are worried, your worried sick! and when you do lose i expect your fans to react similar to the Corinthian's fan's but since Sao Paulo is more class then there really will be some riots and people will get hurt!!

Destroyed Inter? As if Inter wasnt one of Brazil's best teams.

LDU is done. At the Beira Rio they don't stand a chance.

And Inter will sellout the stadium with 60000 easy. (In the old days we could squeeze in 100,000 in the same stadium). Inter has won 21 of the last 23 games at the Beira Rio. Hasn't lost there in 9 1/2 months.

While I agree and I think that Inter should have come out with a better result from Quito (they missed too many chances!!!), the next legs is in two months, that's a lot of time... anything can happen!!!

Liga lost the chance to kick our a$$ yesterday, that one goal by Jorge Wagner is going to cost them big time. At home in Porto Alegre once we score the first goal the match is ours. Yesterday I didn't understood our stupid coach playing with that Michel forward while Renteria and Sobis were seating and watching. Not only that Michel sucks but he was fighting with Granja and that caused them both to get yellow cards and sure enough very soon Liga scored their goal. This loser won't be playing, I think he's done now. 2 months is a good thing for us, is the time we need to recover Sobis and for him to get in sinc with Renteria, with them in the ataque and Fernandao coming from the center I know we can beat Liga. I wasn't really impressed with Liga at all, we controlled their game the entire first half and when they did come for us with was because our stupid coach couldn't see the avenue that was open on our left flank and kept on playing with his ********ing boy on the right. I think it was good we lost, and eye opener so we can make the changes we need. We have more team than Liga and we will have 60 thousand people waiting to send them back to Equador with a defeat.

Impressive game by Libertad so far.

Is it fair if I consider them a serious contender? They have been extremely solid throughout the cup, and this game against River is an excellent display of what they can do.

They had a hard time for a good 25 minutes during the first half and then that goal comes out of thin air... just amazing. One of the best goals of the cup, without a doubt.

I admire this team. 100% Paraguayan style futbol.

They been solid, but i dont think their playing well so far...River has been dominating most of the game and where unlucky not to score but Libertad has taken their chances, hopefully Libertad plays a better 2nd half.

Bonet's goal was a beauty tho and it came completly unexpected

Sao Paolo is 100% the better team than Estudiantes.

Estudiantes ain't that good. They scored so many lsat minute goals, and they just use brute-force. I say Sao Paulo Dismantles Estudiantes 4-1

I think you speak for the majority of Argentine teams when you say"brute-force"and a little help from the refs of course.
