    Demann as pivot looks decent

absolutely horrible defending from the Germans make it 1-1

it was a good ball tho, but very avoidable for the Germans to prevent a goal there with better defending.

looking at it again, Blasse is completely ball watching the Canadian player passing the ball into the box, and not noticing Deanne Rosse coming behind her

and who was the shoddy defender?,,,,,,,,,but once again, Henning

Canada probably got the best back line in woso, but why on earth is Herdman using a 3rd srting GK vs FIFA's #1 team in the world?

Just read that Steffi wanted to organize her defence better, so first step is to get rid of Henning then...

    here's the Canadian goal:

Henning led Ada slide right by her for a goal vs Norway, so by now Steffi should all ready know

When you think that this was Henning's mistake first and foremost then you dont know much about football

I didn't mean that the goal was Henning's fault in this scenario, my comment about Steffi wanting to organize her defense better and therefore Henning should out, wasn't connected to this game

Elisg-Dallmann-Bremer finally together at the same time; a new Germany has arisen! Sill, why did it take a injury to Henning to get Elsig finally in there? And arguably, Germany's fastest player, Hendrich, isn't given any playing time anymore?

Yeah Henning is bad. I think we all agree with that.

She is fielded cause they are such a young team already and Henning is 27 while Elsig made her first NT game today. The pivot is vulnerable when in transition(see the goal) so that they shuffle Henning in to make the entire system not collapse entirely. Jones probably knows best that Henning isnt the ideal starter but i guess at least for this year she will need her in order not to have an completely unexperiences Elsig fail at the euros.

Jones said this was another test game and doesnt say anything about the eventual lineup at the euros. E.g. she had to shuffle Maro around again.

Haven't Henning and Peter just been subs for Krahn and Bartusiak the last championships? Where's the experience then from big tournament games?

along with gk, Schult, Jones now has the entire Wolfsburg back line out there starting for her(Henning as well as FB sub, Faisst, were former Wolfies players). That's probably the experience that Jones is aiming for. But for that she's giving up way better, or capable ones like Maier, Hendrich, Bremer, Kemme, Elsig, Den=mann

would you know the date that Jones will make her Euro squad selections officials, and when is that friendly vs Brazil?

The exp they are talking about stems from playing countless CL games aka the highest level available. Some of them games also together.

Why Henning tho? Hendrich and Elsig are better players by far.

The game against Brazil is 4th july (17:45 CET). I don't know when Steffi will announce her Euro squad.

there's two schools of thought here; you either make an team of all stars like Elsig & Hendrich, and work to blend them up into a well, organized, cohesive team within a few training/months time. Or keep a squad of players that have been together for years at Wolfsburg & the NT. I prefer the former(the all-stars). but obviously Jones prefers the latter. Whether it's been Neid or Jones at the helm, Germany's always played a control type game where they try to keep possession of the ball most of the time. So the latter seems to suit them better.
But as the Canadian game shows, they loose the ball one time and Canada scores in just one try they had in the first half. Finally we see the all star type players come in for Germany in the 2nd half, and they do so much better as they won the game. But remember in a competitive game with only 3 subs allowed, it's becomes even more important on who you start.
So I';m with you regarding picking better quality players. Hopefully Jones sees the light!
