Benz has been the only attacker who was making things happen. Majority of our players are so predictable. Can't take on opposition players.
We need a CF who's in the box, in dangerous areas not doing needless link up on the flanks. But to your point, we'd look very different with Jr out there driving into the box.
Yeah man, can’t wait to see Hazard, Vini and even Rodrygo shine next season. Finally a couple of players who can take on defenders. None of these players tonight can do that, not even on the bench.
We have tried a ton of crosses and most got blocked by the first man. I don't know how Jovic will find the end of it. At least Vinicius and Hazard could beat players. Still would have Felix replacing Benz long-term rather than depending on a style with endless crossing.
ISCO AND ASENSIO are the problem, having one or other play isn't as bad but BOTH is the worst. I hope Zidane sends Asensio out on loan if he carries on like this!
I don't want endless crossing, part of having a man in the box is so we can force the defense to mark a man rather than a zone. With players driving in things open up as players have decisions to make. 5 or 6 passes out wide between our CF, fullback and midfield threaten nothing.

I like Asensio but I'm not sure we need to experiment too much more to determine he's not going to be a difference maker.
