This has clearly been our weakest position. It seems, therefore, appropriate that it should be a focal point for discussion. The situation is changing a bit because two of the prime candidates are right footed and up until this year have not been used on the left side by their clubs. In light of this change, I don't think there is much doubt that the next two players who should be given opportunities (and note I say opportunities plural) are: 1) Dest 2) Lima Not necessarily in that order. But I'd like each to get several games with the first team against competitive opponents. After that the candidates became a good deal less interesting. But for me the best choice if the above two don't pan out is: 3) Fabian Johnson Yes he is getting up there in age. But he is still a quality player playing at a high level. Discuss and debate.
