You can expect some names from the Youth team, there are no real news about the team.

    Don't expect too much.

Nejmeh's performance over the past week was anything but satisfying. And home games don't that matter that much in Lebanon, they're all played in the same stadiums.

250-500 Dollar for a local player. It dependes from the club you're playing at as well.

Foreigners earn more, they're full professional players unlike most of the locals are not fully professional (ie have other jobs, study etc.).

Only that?Really really sad :( I earn more than some players working as an analyst...and I think I don't have skills to play in Lebanon.

for example players like mohammad kallon when he was playing in lebanon in the early 2000 probably was getting paid in 2000 dollars range i would. Pl ayers like vartan ghazarian, hamlet mikhtarian (armenian international left lebanon in 2006) get paid really well like 2000 or 3000 but do not forget thats just playing money

The President of Salam Zgharta, Fr. Estephan Frangieh, was reported last week making certain statements concerning the Lebanese Football Association. It can be read from the Club's website, www.salamzgharta.com

Has the LFA responded and what will the consequences, if anything, for Salam Zgharta ?

Also what are members views why Salam Zgharta did so badly this season.

i m not so sure about each as i left lebanon 4 years ago ... but these numbers that i mentioned were four years ago... my guess for salih sadeer (he is international player for iraq no? ) is around the same amount 3 to 4 thousand maybe ...?

Lebanese league is in full focus in the latest English publication of World Soccer, released today - worth a read if you can get your hands on a copy.

    A good 4 page spread.
