Really can't see on replay what Derby were upset about - if anything, looked like one of the Derby players grabbed and held Zappacosta as he tried to turn in the box. Poor effort from Scott Carson on the save, to be honest.
I have to say I am NOT very impressed with the effort today, in fact lets be honest we were most definitely second best and lucky for the win.......lets remember this was against DERBY! and at home!! Lampard has them fantastically organised and their 'pressing' was about the best I've ever seen from any team not called Barcelona! In the space of a few months Lampard has turned a 'run of the mill' Championship team into the best team to come to Stamford Bridge this year - just WOW! I wouldn't be surprised if Lampard took them up this year. As impressed with 'them' as I was I was also VERY disappointed with our performance. RLC aside the 'fringe' players hardly did themselves any favours today! Cahill was bloody awful.
Good luck to derby for the rest of their season. Hopefully they will be encouraged by tonight on kick on for a promotion run. As for us, well a win is a win and we are in the hat for the quarters. And for a cup match that is the only thing that matters. Onwards.
