It was great to hear that we will be having an exhibition game between what may be a soon to be PDL team, RGV Coyotes, (OK a BIG MAYBE ON THAT) versus the new PDL team, Laredo Heat. Now, I have already visited the web page and have read a couple of articles plus the USL press release on Laredo Heat and its owner, Shashi Vaswani. Does anyone have any more leads on Vaswani? Good to see Roy found a place to play after that mess in Austin. One would think that he might still be able to play at a higher level then the PDL?
If you read closely one press clippings in the Laredo Heat web page, you'll see he will only play certain # of game due to scheduling conflict. Which leads me to ask, what scheduling conflict? Well, good to see he landed in a team that at least seems way more solid than Austin Posse. By the listing of sponsors, the team seems in good financial standing, at least for this and next year.
