Great series of touches there by Donovan. Takes lofted pass down with good touch, cut back pass plays someone in box, pass back to Donovan who hits good cross resulting in header on goal - saved.
Great piece of work between Donovan and Pienaar, then Donovan puts in a flat cross right onto the head of Bileadpiouandfionov but he's all the way at the top of the box and it didn't have enough on it.
Nice stuff from Landon down the right flank -- nice controlling touch on a long pass leads to a clever flick on to a teammate then turns the resulting clearance into a dangerous cross.
Tevez and Petrov are getting into really dangerous positions. Eventually they'll click. Otherwise scrappy in the middle.
Amazing Amazing, now Chelsea, ManCity and Fulham all play italian football. High percentage, organized midfield, boring, but effective. And people say the Serie A isnt what it used to be. It just converted to the EPL, by laying its eggs in a different nest. Only way to beat it is by very good passing on the defensive end to catch them on the counter attack. Right now everton defenders are just hoofing it upfield, that needs to change. As I said earlier, a lot of high balls out Donovan's way to break out, but it's not effective if the break is taking so long to develop.
